Octane for Houdini

The Material Layer Group node is designed to allow more than one material layer type to be added to an existing material through the material's Layer input pin (Figure 1). The layered material system lets you construct complex materials that consist of a base layer from the standard Octane material and up to eight Material Layers. The Material Layer Group node can also be connected to a Layer pin on a Material Layer node as a method for stacking more than eight material layers together (figure 2).
