The Flakes texture node generates a flake pattern consisting of a series of random sized and colored circular shapes (figure 2).

Parameters

    • Base Color - Determines the background color under the flake shapes.
    • Flake Size - Determines the general size of the flakes.
    • Flake Size Variance - Sets a variation in the size of the flakes.
    • Blend Factor - Determines the blend value between the background color and the flakes.
    • UVW Transform - Positions, scales, and rotates the surface texture.
    • Projection - Sets how the texture projects onto the surface.
