Color management is a rapidly-changing topic; Maxon has finally implemented ACES and OCIO in Cinema 4D Release 2023, whereas Octane has had ACES/OCIO implemented for several versions now. As a result, using ACES/OCIO is a little more straightforward than before, but there are still some basic setup stups that are required for ACES/OCIO in both applications — the good news is that, once installed, the same ACEC/OCIO configs work with both applications.
