Mesh Volume
The Mesh Volume node will accept a 3D model in .the scene and convert it to a volume (figure 1).

Mesh Volume Parameters
Mesh Node - Pressing this button will allow for a scene object to be selected as the mesh volume.
Copy Node Transforms - Copies the source node rotation and scale to all instances of this mesh volume object.
Voxel Size - Determines the size of each voxel.
Border Inside/Outside - Determines the amount of voxels generated inside and outside of the surface.
Iso Value - Isovalues used when converting between fog volumes and level sets.
Type - Set the volume mesh to either a standard mesh volume or a mesh volume SDF.
Medium - Allows for any of the medium nodes to be used to set volume rendering characteristics.
Display As - Determines how the mesh volume will be displayed in the viewport.
