Procedural Effects
The Procedural Effects texture node provides numerous procedural texture types typically used to construct effects-based materials (figure 1).

Procedural Effects Parameters
Type - Determines the effect type to be used (figure 2).

Time - The animation time stamp used to pan the textures across a surface.
UVW Transform - Positions, scales, and rotates the surface texture.
Projection - Sets how the texture projects onto the surface. The projection default is the Mesh UV projection type which has a UV Set parameter to determine which UV set to use for projection. If other projection types are selected, additional parameters could include:
- Coordinate Space - Determines the coordinate space for the texture map.
- Use Rest Attribute - Prevents texture sliding, swimming, or distortion on animated and deforming meshes by locking coordinates to an base frame.
