Baking Camera


The Baking CameraAn Octane Camera Type, which can be accessed via the PBR Render Target Inspector Window. This Camera is used for Lighting and Texture Baking is at the heart of the lighting and texture baking process. The texture baking process extracts lighting information from a mesh’s surface, then generates a texture that can map back to the mesh at a later time (Figure 1). This process is covered in detail in the Lighting and Baking Texture topics.
