MaterialsA set of attributes or parameters that describe surface characteristics. can be imported from the SOPs environment or they can be created in the Solaris™ environment. To import materials that exist in the SOP's MAT network, activating the Import Materials parameter in a Scene Import (All) node will import MAT network materials (figure 1). MAT network materials can also be imported separately from other SOP objects using the Scene Import (Materials) node in the Solaris environment.
