Octane-specific lights from SOPs cannot be imported into the Solaris™ environment. However, emissive surfaces designed in the MAT network can be imported into the Solaris environment using the various Scene Import nodes (figure 1). Native Houdini lights can be imported into Solaris from SOPs, however, Octane does not support native Houdini lights when working in the SOPs environment.
