The plugin does not require OctaneRender Standalone Edition to be installed. However you must own a license for Standalone Edition in order to use the plugin (your Standalone credentials will be requested when you activate the plugin). If you do intend to use OctaneRender’s Distributed Network Feature, the Standalone Edition is required and it does need to be the same Octane version as the plugin.
The plugin supports Trimble SketchUp 2015, 2016 and 2017.
OctaneRender for Trimble SketchUp is available for the following operating systems:
Windows 7, 64 bit only
Windows 8, 64 bit only
Windows 8.1 64 bit only
Windows 10, 64 bit only
OctaneRender requires a Nvidia driver supporting CUDA 7.5 and 8.0 (link).
