Rendering Kernels

Rendering is controlled and adjusted from the OctaneRender^® panel (figure 1). In particular, the Octane KernelsBy definition, this is the central or most important part of something. In Octane, the Kernels are the heart of the render engine. are the heart of the Octane render engine. Octane provides four type of render kernels.

• Path Tracing
• Direct Lighting
• PMC
• Info Channels
