Both Poser 11 and Poser 11 Pro have 64-bit Windows versions – so the OctaneRender for Poser plugin will run on both these version of Poser in 64-bit mode. Octane 2.24.2 onwards does not support 32-bit operating systems. So if you are running Poser 9 or Poser 10 – 32-bit, you will need to install OctaneRender for Poser 2.24.1.61 (the last version with 32-bit support).

Poser 11 supports new material types – so a Poser material may have a set of Material nodes for the Firefly renderer, and another set of nodes for the Superfly renderer. The OctaneRender for Poser plugin will convert the Firefly nodes to Octane materials (it will ignore the Superfly nodes). The firefly node are those connected to the PoserSurface node with “FireFly Root” ticked. All materials should have Firefly nodes, so this should not be an issue. If for some reason you delete the Firefly nodes, or a Cycles or PhysicalMaterial has “Firefly Root” ticked, the plugin will convert that Poser material to a default glossy material.
