The Flakes texture node generates a flake pattern consisting of a series of random sized and colored circular shapes (figure 1).

Base Color
Determines the background color under the flake shapes.
Flake Size
Determines the general size of the flakes.
Flake Size Variance
Sets a variation in the size of the flakes.
Blend Factor
Determines the blend value between the background color and the flakes.
Transform
Positions, scales, and rotates the surface texture.
Projection
Sets how the texture projects onto the surface.
