Sinewave

 

The Sine Wave, Saw Wave and Triangle Wave textures can be used to create various banding or striped patterns.

 

How To Use

 

Open the Node editor and prepare the setup as you see in the picture below. In this setup, Sinewave node connected to the diffuse channel. You can also use Gradient node for making colors of this Sinewave patterns if you want to. Transform node used for to change the PSR values of the patterns. As you can see, it's a pretty simple setup. You can use this node to create interesting loopable patterns or stripes.

 

Sinewave Settings

 

Offset

Used to shift the position of the pattern on the surface. You can use Noise or Turbulence Nodes here to change the pattern look.

 

Transform

Sets the position, scale, and rotation of the texture on the surface. We've already explain this feature. See this section for details.

 

Projection

Sets the way the texture is project onto the surface. We've already explain this feature. See this section for details.

 

Type

There are 3 types to use: Sinewave, Traingle and Sawwave.
