This section discusses the Render KernelsBy definition, this is the central or most important part of something. In Octane, the Kernels are the heart of the render engine.. Kernels are an integral part of the Octane Render engine. The kernel is what determines the rendering style of Octane. There are 4 different kernel modes: Directligting, Pathtracing, PMC and Infochannels. The Kernels can be accessed from the Octane Settings window (figure 1).
