You can use the Live Viewer "Objects" menu to access the light types on Octane. This is the most effective method. The other method is to create Native Cinema 4D light and then assign the "Octane Light Tag" to this light but this is not recommended. Octane Light Tag is automatically generated when you create lights from Live Viewer. So do the first method. The following picture shows this method.
