Ensure AutoCAD is not currently running on your PC, and then run the provided installation file (eg. OctaneRender_for_AutoCAD_2014_64bit_ Setup_1.20.1_Beta.exe). The installer will copy all the plugin files into the default plugin folder for AutoCAD (C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Application\Plugins\OctaneRender for AutoCAD.bundle).
Once installed, when you next run AutoCAD, the plugin will be available from the Plug-ins Tab.
You will need to activate the plugin prior to using it for the first time. Open the plugin, and enter your OctaneLive User ID and Password in the Activation tab, and click the Activate button. Once activated, the other tabs (ie “Settings”, “MaterialsA set of attributes or parameters that describe surface characteristics.”, etc) will be selectable and you can start using the plugin to render.
You can also run the plugin via the OCTANERENDER AutoCAD command.
